Whole Bible Read (“we”, “us”) operates the website wholebibleread.com and the companion mobile application Bible in Majōl. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Payment information. When you purchase lifetime access for $4.99, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, billing address, card details, and email. We do not see, store, or have access to your card details. We do receive your email address and Stripe customer ID so we can issue your access code and respond to support requests.
Access codes. We generate a unique access code (WBR-XXXX-XXXX) tied to your purchase and store it on our servers (MongoDB Atlas, hosted in the United States). We also store the timestamp of your purchase and the count of how many times you have redeemed your code, so we can detect abuse.
Reading progress. Your chapter-completion progress is stored only in your browser’s localStorage on the device you used to mark chapters as read. We do not upload your reading progress to our servers.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Render) automatically logs basic request information (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and debugging. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
What we do NOT collect. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking services. We do not sell or share your information with marketers. We do not profile you for advertising.
We do not use any tracking cookies. The Reading Plan stores two items in your browser’s localStorage:
wbr_access_code — your access code, so you don’t have to re-enter it each visit.wbr_progress_v1 — your chapter-completion list.You can clear these at any time using your browser’s "Clear site data" feature.
Our service is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You may request the deletion of your access code and associated purchase records by emailing support@wholebibleread.com from the email associated with your purchase. We will respond within 30 days.
We retain access code records indefinitely so we can continue to honor lifetime access. You may request deletion at any time (see above).
Our servers are located in the United States. By using the service, you consent to your information being processed in the U.S.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated policy here with a new “Last updated” date.
